COVID-19 Will Spread To All States In Nigeria – Fayemi

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, has warned that the COVID-19 pandemic could spread to other states in the federation. Noting the speed with which the disease was spreading in the country, the governor said Nigerians should brace up for the herculean challenges ahead.

Governor Fayemi said that members of the Governors Forum had met 5 times to discuss the economic implication of COVID-19 and how to cope with the imminent challenges it might throw up. He said the states where working to complement the efforts of the federal government and health authorities in stopping the virus from further escalating in the country. He called on Nigerians to continue cooperating with the government and health authorities as  the war on the virus requires a collective approach.
