By Amechi Idumuebor, For Agenda Watchdog, April 22, 2020

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Several state governors have been denied flight requests, since the blanket ban placed on flights in the country, coupled with the lockdown order by President Muhammadu Buhari, as part of measures to curb the spread of covid-19  in the country came. This was disclosed by Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, during the question and answer session at the routine briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja.

According to Hadi, the governors were not exempt from the lockdown and flight ban orders, since, as citizens of Nigeria, they were also subject to all regulations meant to check the further spread of COVID-19 in the country.
