We Will Prosecute COVID-19 Patients Who Lied About Their Travel History – Babajide Sanwo-Olu

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – COVID-19 patients who lied to health professional about their travel history will be prosecuted for endangering public health, according to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who revealed this during a media chat on Monday, April 20, 2020.

The governor labelled people in the aforementioned category of COVID-19 patients “dangerous” as they posed significant health risks to others. He said that some offenders had already been identified and would be prosecuted to serve as deterrent to others with similar intentions. He advised Lagosians to continue observing the regulations put in place to stem the spread of the virus as it was for their long term benefit.
