Lagos Discloses Identity Of Hospital Where Abba Kyari Died

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – The identity of the medical facility where the former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari died from complications associated with COVID-19 has been revealed by the Lagos State Government as First Cardiology Consultants. This followed apprehension initially expressed by Lagosians who wanted to know the exact hospital where Kyari died due to fears that unsuspecting clients of the facility might get infected if proper disinfection was not carried out following the death of a COVID-19 patient in the hospital.

Full text of the Lagos State Government’s statement reads: “Following enquiries on the passing away of the Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mallam Abba Kyari on Friday 17th April 2020, LASG states that he died from complications of Coronavirus infection at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos. This hospital is a Lagos State designated high care, biosecurity-compliant, COVID-19 facility, accredited by the Health Facility Management and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) of the Lagos State Ministry of Health”.
