(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Former Military Head of State and Civilian President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has joined the list of prominent Nigerians who have condoled with the Presidency on the painful demise of Abba Kyari, President Buhari’s Chief of Staff. His condolence message was contained in a personally signed letter.
Obasanjo expressed shock at Kyari’s painful loss to COVID-19, asking President Buhari to be consoled by the fact that he died a patriot serving his fatherland, and reminded Nigerians of the threat COVID-19 posed to all and the need for collective efforts to stem the further spread of the deadly disease. He prayed for God to give the family of the late Kyari the strength to bear their irreparable loss and the repose of his soul.
