War On COVID-19: Edo Govt Places Blanket Ban On Street Trading

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – As part of measures to stem the further spread of COVID-19 in the State, the Edo State Government has placed a blanket ban on street trading across the state. This was disclosed by the Deputy Governor of Edo State and Chairman of the Technical Committee, Edo State COVID-19 Taskforce, Comrade Philip Shaibu during a media chat.

According to Shaibu, the ban, which was part of measures to restrict movement and enforce social distancing, was in the best interest of the people of Edo State which is one of states with the highest number of infections in the country with 13 cases recorded so far.
