My Comment On Poor State Of Nigeria’s Health Sector Misquoted – Boss Mustahpa

(AGENDAWATCHDOG) – Mr. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has recanted his earlier statement on Thursday, April 9, 2020, while addressing senior members of the Federal parliament, that he didn’t realize how parlous the country’s health system was until he was made Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, a body that coordinates Nigeria’s ongoing war on the Coronavirus pandemic. The SGF made this clarification while speaking at the Presidential Task Force briefing on Friday. According to Mr. Mustapha, he was quoted out of context as what he meant was that his adhoc appointment would afford him the opportunity to champion the reformation of the country’s health sector which was in shambles. The SGF had been attacked by Nigerians who wanted to know why somebody occupying the hallowed position of an SGF would be ignorant of the country’s jumbled up health system.
