COVID-19: Don’t Go To Hospital Unless You Are Very Sick – Boss Mustapha


The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has advised Nigerians who are not critically ill to stay away from hospital environments to avoid further spread of the Coronavirus. The SGF made the plea at the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19 situation in Abuja on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Speaking at the same event, the Minister for Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, who was represented at the event by Olorunnimbe Mamora, Minister of State for health, advised that no Nigerian should be refused treatment by any hospital as essential medical services should continue unhindered, but advised that any suspected case of COVID-19 should be referred to the nearest designated testing and treatment centers set up for the management of the disease.
