Africa’s richest man and billionaire philanthropist, Aliko Dangote has tested negative for the novel COVID-19, the deadly virus that has become a global pandemic.
In a tweet on his twitter handle, the billionaire said he took the test because of his status as a global citizen and business leader.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted modern society, affecting our collective health and well-being. As a global citizen and business leader, I took the COVID-19 test and the result came back NEGATIVE”.
Dangote is the leader of Coalition Against COVID-19, a private sector driven initiative that is helping mobilise resources in the war on the coronavirus.
“We are in this together and I am optimistic we will overcome”, he said.
