Philanthropy: Femi Otedola Pledges ₦1 billion Donation To The War On COVID-19

Nigerian billionaire businessman and foremost philanthropist, Femi Otedola has joined the growing list of wealthy Nigerians offering support in cash and kind to the country’s ongoing war on the COVID-19 pandemic.

The billionaire recently announced on his Instagram page his intention to donate a whooping sum of N1 billion to complement the efforts of government and health authorities in ongoing efforts to check the spread of the further spread of the deadly virus in the country.

Otedola’s proposal is coming closely on the heels of the donation of N1 billion to the same course by Chairman of Bua Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

Femi Otedola joins the list of the likes of prominent Nigerians such as Atiku Abubakar, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu and other wealthy Nigerians who have thrown their support behind ongoing efforts to check the spread of COVID-19 across the country.
